Application
For skin care: Spray the affected area 2-3 times a day with 1-2 sprays as required.
For oral care: Spray the affected area of the mouth and throat 3-4 times a day with 1-2 sprays.

What does MGO mean?

MGO stands for methylglyoxal and is contained in high quantities in Manuka honey. This substance is produced during the ripening process of Manuka honey. The nectar of the Manuka plant contains dihydroxyacetone, which is converted to methylglyoxal (MGO) as the honey matures. It is still not known why this substance is only found in the nectar of the Manuka plant, but our Manuka honey is certified and tested with an MGO of 500+ and is our premium product from New Zealand.(see certificate of analysis here).

What makes Manuka honey special?

High-quality Manuka honey is important for the preservation of bees in New Zealand and so this New Zealand honey has great added value for us humans. Bedrop attaches great importance to high-quality, natural and premium products. We source high quality and certified Manuka honey directly from New Zealand.

What is propolis?

The worker bees collect the substance, which consists mainly of resin and wax, and bring it to their hive. The hive bees take the propolis from the worker bees and use it to insulate the hive, cement cracks and lay the propolis as a kind of doormat at the entrance to the hive. This mat serves as a disinfectant for the returning worker bees and thanks to its properties, harmful microorganisms cannot get inside the hive. To keep the hive sterile and thus keep other insects and bacteria away from it, the bees not only narrow the flight holes with the propolis, they also seal the entire hive with it.

How does aniseed work?

Aniseed is considered a special herb with its typical, aromatic scent. Aniseed has been prized for many centuries and was already an integral part of many households in ancient times. The plant is particularly well-known for its characteristic aroma and versatile use.

We have added a small amount of aniseed to our Manuka Spray to give the Manuka Propolis Spray a fragrant note with its aromatic scent.
