PROPOLIS FOR ANIMALS
Propolis tincture 10% (oral) spray
Our Propolis (oral) spray is ideal for direct application to the affected areas. The propolis spray forms a light, sticky protective layer on the skin that acts like a natural plaster. It is absorbed quickly and leaves the skin feeling pleasant. In addition, the skin draws the propolis in directly. If desired, this application can be repeated several times daily with our alcohol‑free propolis. For injuries and wounds we recommend using alcohol‑free propolis directly, as alcohol‑based propolis could irritate and dry out the wounds.
Application of propolis and Manuka honey can also be used on our beloved animals, from dog to horse.
Whether for small wounds, larger injuries or to support the well‑being of our cherished four‑legged companions.

100% natural support from the inside and out

TREATMENT OPTIONS
MANUKA HONEY FOR ANIMALS
Natural skin and wound care is also possible for animals. The Manuka honey contains MGO (methylglyoxal) and has antibacterial and disinfectant properties. Animal naturopaths and veterinarians often use Manuka honey to clean and disinfect wounds. Manuka honey can also be added to food. As a natural sweetener and reward, it can support the wellbeing of your beloved animal.
Horses are particularly prone to wounds, injuries and pastern dermatitis in summer — simply apply a layer of Manuka honey and allow it to absorb. Dogs can unexpectedly injure a paw or get hurt on walks; Manuka honey provides quick first aid. Cats are often adventurous and may hurt themselves while exploring. Use a wooden spatula to apply a little Manuka honey to the area to disinfect. If some is licked off, unlike with many conventional products, this is not a problem and can even be beneficial!
Animal naturopaths and veterinarians
Bedrop works closely with animal naturopaths and veterinarians. Whether for aftercare or acute cases, Manuka honey and alcohol-free propolis are used. We are in constant exchange with our partners and continuously receive feedback on treatments and effects.
