Propolis

Propolis is the protective resin of bees with over 300 natural ingredients, including flavonoids and polyphenols. It is valued in cosmetics for its soothing properties and can help to care for sensitive skin and scalp.

Propolis (Propolis Cera/Propolis Extract) is a complex natural product that bees produce from resins of various plants, pollen and beeswax. The rich composition with flavonoids, polyphenols and other bioactive components makes propolis a valued ingredient in natural cosmetics. The ingredient can help to soothe irritations and support the natural balance. Important note: Do not use if you are allergic to bee products. Tolerance test recommended for sensitive skin.

Manuka honey

Manuka honey is a premium honey from the New Zealand manuka bush with a particularly high methylglyoxal (MGO) content. We use Manuka honey with an MGO content of at least 500+. Can help to retain skin moisture and support the natural skin barrier.

Manuka honey (Mel) is produced exclusively by bees that collect the nectar of the wild manuka bush (Leptospermum scoparium) in New Zealand. In addition to natural sugars, it also contains enzymes, amino acids, vitamins and antioxidants. The characteristic feature is the high content of methylglyoxal (MGO), a naturally occurring substance that can vary greatly depending on the quality. We use Manuka honey with an MGO content of at least 500+.

Manuka honey is produced from the nectar of the New Zealand Manuka plant (Leptospermum scoparium) and is known for its high methylglyoxal content. With an MGO rating of 500+, our Manuka honey belongs to the premium grades and has long been prized for natural care.

The set is rounded off by propolis, also called bee resin. Worker bees collect plant resins and process them with their enzymes into a sticky protective substance. In the hive, propolis is used for sealing, insulation and as a natural hygienic layer. The flavonoids and polyphenols it contains make propolis a particularly valuable natural product – not only for humans but also for our animal companions.
