Our motivation:
Bee decline is a serious global problem. In Germany, more than half of wild bee species are threatened. Urban expansion, pesticide use and the resulting loss of habitat for wildlife are among the causes of this problem.
As a company, we are aware of our responsibility and prepared to take more ecological responsibility.
Together with you, the Honey Bees, our community and our partner Artenglück, we want to create a sustainable impact and make a stand for a greener world.

My story & mission
Bees and bee products have accompanied me since childhood. My grandfather was a beekeeper, and every morning my mother gave me a teaspoon of bee pollen and propolis to strengthen me. From a young age I was taught about bees and their incredible contribution to us and our world.
Core concern: bee wellbeing/conservation:
Protecting and preserving bees is very important to me. We want to support bee wellbeing in many ways. Our organic certification prevents exploitation or killing of bees during the harvest of our bee products. But we want to do even more and be part of a comprehensive, long-term solution. Not only bees matter to us; we want to create a sustainable habitat for all living beings, promote species diversity and safeguard biodiversity.
We are committed to raising awareness among as many people as possible about this important issue, educating on bee-friendly practices and serving as a platform and voice for bee and species protection.

Flower meadow with Artenglück
Artenglück protects species diversity in the DACH region. With targeted conservation measures such as multi-year flower meadows, Artenglück creates food sources and habitats for bees, butterflies and other insects. In cooperation with committed farmers, Artenglück establishes colourful flower fields that are not only attractive but also make an important contribution to nature conservation. Flower meadows provide ideal habitats and food sources for insects — especially bees and other pollinators.

Bee hotel with Bee friendly
Bee friendly is committed to protecting biodiversity, wild bees and their habitats – with the aim of putting data-driven conservation into practice. Under the motto “Create knowledge. Do conservation.” Bee friendly connects science, education and concrete measures for a species-rich future.
All Bee friendly bee hotels are produced in the Diakoniewerkstätten Rhein-Neckar by people with disabilities, using wood and bamboo from sustainable forestry.
2024: Kick-off flower meadow - community event
Finally the day had arrived — on Saturday, 21.09.24 we were able to join our Honeybee Community and our partner Artenglück to inaugurate our passion project and bring our bee conservation project to life.
On 5,000 sqm of unused farmland we sowed, hoed and rolled. Over the coming months and years a splendid wildflower meadow will flourish here, creating a paradise for bees and other insects and supporting regional biodiversity.
And the result speaks for itself.
2025: More bee protection with a bee hotel
May 20 was World Bee Day! A day when we made a shared promise: with the proceeds from your purchases in our shop we wanted to start a new bee conservation project.
Together with Bee friendly and our community we realised another passion project: a lovingly designed bee hotel that provides wild bees with a safe home.
The new bee hotel sits in our wildflower meadow, which has bloomed in all its splendour. Now our little helpers find not only food but also shelter and ideal conditions for their vital work as pollinators.

Tips to support bees
We all know how hard bees work and how much we benefit from them. To support their busy lives and help the little helpers, we have 3 simple tips for you:
1. Plant wild meadows and native flowers — this creates new habitats for our little helpers.
2. Provide water stations — ideally a shallow plate or container so the animals can easily refresh themselves.
3. Set up or build insect or bee hotels to give bees a home or retreat.
