Royal jelly, also called queen bee jelly, is the most precious product from the beehive. Worker bees produce it from flower pollen, honey and an enzyme-rich secretion from their salivary glands. It serves as the exclusive food of the queen bee, enabling her to live up to four years, while worker bees live only a few weeks. Bee products have been a part of my life since childhood. Every morning, a teaspoon of bee pollen and propolis was part of my daily routine to boost my well-being.
