Active Ingredients

Propolis

Propolis is the putty resin of bees with over 300 natural ingredients, including resins, pollen and valuable flavonoids. Supports the immune system and the body's natural defenses.

Propolis (Propolis Cera/Propolis Extract) is produced by bees as a protective resin for their hive and serves to disinfect the entrance hole. The tickling resin consists of resins from various plants, pollen, essential oils and beeswax. The more than 300 identified ingredients include valuable polyphenols and flavonoids, which act as natural antioxidants. When used internally, propolis can help to support the body's own defenses and promote general well-being. Important note: Do not use if you are allergic to bee products.

Sodium hydroxide

Sodium hydroxide is a pH regulator that is used in water-soluble tinctures. Enables the dissolution of resinous plant components in water and thus makes alcohol-free formulations possible.

Sodium hydroxide is used to create an alkaline solution that makes resinous herbal ingredients water-soluble. This process enables the production of alcohol-free tinctures that are suitable for different user groups. In the finished product, the ingredient is present in neutralized form and stabilizes the pH value. It makes it possible to provide valuable herbal ingredients in an aqueous solution.

Alcohol‑free & water‑soluble – pure propolis as a spray

The hive’s protective power for your mouth

Our Propolis Mouth Spray contains 10% pure propolis extract in a water‑soluble form, completely free of alcohol and additives.

Propolis, also known as bee glue, is one of the most fascinating substances from the hive. Worker bees collect plant resins and mix them with enzymes to create a sticky protective material. In the hive, propolis is used for sealing, insulating and as a natural hygiene layer. At the hive entrance it forms a kind of doormat that returning bees brush against as they fly in.

The high‑quality propolis comes from local and regional beekeepers in rural, idyllic areas. The flavonoids (approx. 19%) and polyphenols (approx. 35%) it contains make it a particularly valuable natural product. The water‑soluble, alcohol‑free formulation enables a gentle and straightforward application.

For a fresh, naturally cared-for mouthfeel whenever you need it.

Frequently asked questions

Here you’ll find all the answers to the most important questions about the application, effects and ingredients of the Propolis Cream

What is propolis and how does it work?

Propolis is a resin‑like substance whose consistency can change with temperature. At temperatures up to 15°C it is brittle and hard; above that it becomes softer and more malleable, and at around 60°C it turns liquid. Bees mainly use propolis to maintain their hive, while humans can make use of its richness in vitamins and minerals for various needs, for example as supportive care for skin concerns or to support general well‑being.

How much propolis per day?

How much propolis should be taken per day depends on the product used. For this reason, the stated daily dosage should be followed.

Areas of use for propolis

Anyone who is not allergic or intolerant to propolis can use it without issue. It can be applied in many areas. Many people use propolis tinctures, which make propolis easier to use and dose. Treatment and application are individual and vary according to personal needs.
