Apply the bedrop Bee Cream to clean, intact skin. You can apply the Bee Cream directly to the affected areas. The Bee Cream spreads easily and can be gently massaged in. For complaints affecting joints, the back and muscles, a soothing application with light pressure is particularly important.
In naturopathy, bee venom (also: apitoxin) is considered analgesic, so the Bee Cream can act supportively on affected areas thanks to the bee venom it contains. The natural herbal extracts in the cream support the effect of the bee venom.
On application the Bee Cream feels cooling at first and then gives a gentle warming sensation. For stronger needs we recommend applying it several times a day.

What results can I expect?

How long after starting treatment will I see results?
Initial visible results can appear after just a few weeks of regular use. For optimal results, continuous use over several months is recommended.
I’m worried about a bee venom allergy — can I still use the cream?
Because BeeCream from bedrop is dermatologically tested and specially developed for human skin, mild bee‑venom allergies are not usually a cause for concern. The high bee‑venom content in the cream is moderated by various herbal extracts, so it should only be avoided by people with severe allergies. Otherwise there’s no need to worry. You can perform a quick patch test, for example with a small amount on the back of the hand, to check tolerance.
Does it sting lightly after the first applications — is that normal?
A slight burning or tingling sensation can be normal during the first applications, as the bee venom stimulates circulation. The burning may feel a little stronger initially because of the menthol content, but this will ease after about the 3rd–5th application. Avoid the eye area at first. With repeated use it becomes increasingly comfortable. Alternatively, bedrop’s BeeBalm can be used around the eyes.
How does bee venom work on wrinkles?
Bee venom contains melittin, a peptide that can stimulate collagen and elastin production in the skin. This helps tighten the skin and can reduce wrinkles. It works similarly to Botox by reducing the muscle contractions that lead to wrinkle formation.
Does it work for men too?
Yes, bee venom ointment and royal jelly are suitable for all skin types and genders. Men can also benefit from the anti-ageing effects.
Are there any known side effects?
There are no significant side effects. Only the initial tingling and mild burning are side effects that subside after 3–5 applications. Afterwards the sensation becomes increasingly pleasant. No other side effects are known.
Are there any other positive effects beyond anti-ageing?
Yes, bee venom salve and royal jelly can also have anti-inflammatory properties and support skin healing. They may be helpful in treating acne, eczema and other skin conditions. They are also used for spider veins, cellulite & more.
Sustainability and bee welfare in bee venom collection
Bee venom is harvested as gently as possible. Unlike a sting in human skin, where the bee loses its sting and dies, a bee can sting multiple times during controlled venom collection and survives the process unharmed. The released venom is then replenished by the bee.
