Active Ingredients

Propolis

Propolis is the protective resin of bees with over 300 natural ingredients, including flavonoids and polyphenols. It is valued in cosmetics for its soothing properties and can help to care for sensitive skin and scalp.

Propolis (Propolis Cera/Propolis Extract) is a complex natural product that bees produce from resins of various plants, pollen and beeswax. The rich composition with flavonoids, polyphenols and other bioactive components makes propolis a valued ingredient in natural cosmetics. The ingredient can help to soothe irritations and support the natural balance. Important note: Do not use if you are allergic to bee products. Tolerance test recommended for sensitive skin.

Tea tree oil

Tea tree oil is an essential oil from the leaves of the Australian tea tree. It is used in cosmetics for skin and nail care. Can help to revitalize and strengthen skin and nails.

Tea tree oil (Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil) is obtained by steam distillation from the leaves of the Australian tea tree. It is particularly popular for the care of blemished skin and nails and is valued for its natural cleansing properties. The essential oil contains valuable terpene compounds and has a characteristic fragrance. It is used in cosmetic formulations in balanced concentrations.

Citronella oil

Citronella oil is an essential oil with a fresh, lemony scent extracted from various Cymbopogon species. Can help to lock in moisture and is valued for its firming properties.

Citronella oil (Cymbopogon Nardus Oil) is obtained by steam distillation from the leaves and stems of tropical lemongrasses. The essential oil is characterized by its characteristically fresh, lemony scent and has long been used in cosmetics. The main components include citronellal, geraniol and other natural terpenes. Citronella oil is traditionally valued for its nourishing and refreshing properties.

Lavender oil

Lavender oil is an essential oil from the flowers of true lavender. It is used in cosmetics for soothing skin care. Can help to relax and balance the skin.

Lavender oil (Lavandula Angustifolia Oil) is obtained by steam distillation from the flowers of true lavender. It is particularly popular in soothing skin care and is valued for its balancing properties. The essential oil contains valuable plant components and has a characteristic floral fragrance. It is used in cosmetic formulations in balanced concentrations.

Intensive nail care with natural propolis extract

The protective power of the bees for your nails

Our Propolis Nail Serum contains concentrated propolis extract combined with a unique blend of essential oils and herbal extracts.

Propolis, the bees’ natural sealing resin, is one of the most versatile products from the hive. Worker bees collect plant resins and process them with enzymes into a sticky protective substance that shields the hive from external influences. The polyphenols and flavonoids in propolis make it a particularly valuable ingredient for nail care.

The formula is complemented by four essential oils: lavender oil, tea tree oil, lemongrass oil and citronella oil, which nourish and revitalise the nail. Seven herbal extracts, including cistus, oregano, wild garlic and myrrh, complete the natural care formula.

For strong, well-cared-for nails, drop by drop.

Frequently asked questions

Here you’ll find all the answers to the most important questions about the application, effects and ingredients of the Propolis Cream

What is propolis and how does it work?

Propolis is a resin‑like substance whose consistency can change with temperature. At temperatures up to 15°C it is brittle and hard; above that it becomes softer and more malleable, and at around 60°C it turns liquid. Bees mainly use propolis to maintain their hive, while humans can make use of its richness in vitamins and minerals for various needs, for example as supportive care for skin concerns or to support general well‑being.

How much propolis per day?

How much propolis should be taken per day depends on the product used. For this reason, the stated daily dosage should be followed.

Areas of use for propolis

Anyone who does not have an allergy or intolerance to propolis can use this without any problem. It can be applied in any area. Many people choose propolis tinctures, which make propolis easier to use and dose. Use is individual and varies according to need.
