Our Beelixir Hair Oil combines Manuka honey with pure propolis extract for intensively nourishing haircare using natural bee products.
Manuka honey is known for its special nourishing properties and supplies the hair with valuable moisture. It’s complemented by propolis, the bees’ natural sealant, which serves as a protective hygienic layer in the hive. Worker bees collect plant resins and process them with their own enzymes into a sticky protective substance that lines the entire hive.
The nourishing argan oil base feeds the hair intensively while rosemary extract revitalises the scalp. Hemp oil and olive oil add extra moisture, and retinol (vitamin A) as well as vitamin E support hair regeneration. A hint of menthol provides a refreshing sensation on the scalp.

Intensive hair treatment
Apply to damp hair and leave on for 15–20 minutes (or overnight).
Cleansing
Lather in damp hands or directly into wet hair and massage in. Rinse thoroughly afterwards.
Care
Wet and gently glide over lengths and ends & lightly massage, leave on for 2–3 minutes and then rinse thoroughly.
Shine & growth
Use 1–2 pumps as a finish by working the oil into the hair ends.

Manuka honey has been regarded for millennia as a natural way to support the body's vitality.
Manuka honey is more potent than regular blossom honey due to its MGO content.
Our bedrop Manuka honey has an MGO value of 500+ (for comparison: normal honey has MGO 80). Take 1 teaspoon of bedrop Manuka honey daily, plain, in juice or in tea to support the body over the long term. For sensitive areas, apply a small smear of Manuka honey with the tip of a knife to the affected skin and leave to work.

MGO stands for methylglyoxal and is present in high amounts in Manuka honey. This compound forms during the honey's maturation. The nectar of the Manuka plant contains dihydroxyacetone, which converts during maturation into methylglyoxal (MGO). To this day it is not known why this compound occurs only in the nectar of the Manuka plant.
Each individual Manuka honey can be traced back to the beekeeper by its MGO. Our Manuka honey is certified and tested with an MGO of 500+, our premium product from New Zealand.
Manuka honey with a content under 400 MGO is similar in composition and properties to ordinary blossom honey. We analyse our Manuka honey meticulously (see analysis certificate here)
Bee products have been a part of my life since childhood. Every morning, a teaspoon of bee pollen and propolis was part of my daily routine to boost my well-being.
