Brood comb

The queen bee lays her eggs (also known as "pens") in the brood combs. This is where the bee brood goes through its various stages of development - from egg to larva to pupa. At the same time, the hive bees also store honey and pollen in these combs. The brood combs are arranged close together in the bee colony and together form the so-called brood nest.
