Honigbiene

The honey bee (apis melifera) is divided into different breeds and is the best known bee. It has brown and black stripes and is found all over the world. In Germany, Switzerland and Austria there are five different breeds, the best known of which are the Carnica bees. Unlike wild bees, honey bees live in a colony, where they carry out various activities during their lifetime. From cleaning bees to forager bees, they spend their short lives serving the bee colony and the queen bee.
