Freeze-dried royal jelly - why?

Royal jelly is one of the most important bee products in the beehive. The bee colony uses it for the brood cells so that the eggs grow and are fed. It is also considered to be the only food for the queen bee, which is why royal jelly has been given the name "royal jelly".
Superfood royal jelly
Royal jelly contains many essential ingredients, trace elements and minerals that are of great importance to both bees and humans.
The queen bee is fed exclusively with royal jelly throughout her life and lives for up to four years. Anatomically speaking, there is no difference between a queen bee and a worker bee - only their diet, which makes a huge difference to the life of the queen bee. In order for her to lay her thousands of eggs every day, it is important that she consumes nutrients such as proteins, zinc, lipids and carbohydrates and remains fertile. Royal jelly contains 28 different organic elements and minerals and is considered a real nutrient bomb in naturopathy.
The nutrients in fresh royal jelly are a major quality feature, which is why it is in great demand in the sports scene, as well as being consumed by many (older) people who suffer from a lack of vitality. The disadvantage of fresh royal jelly is that it should be kept refrigerated and is therefore not practical to consume. Light and heat can reduce the nutritional value and quality of fresh royal jelly in the long term. So that we can continue to satisfy our customers and avoid having to do without royal j elly during competitions, trips, business appointments or other situations, we have managed to offer royal jelly in capsules using a special process without losing its high nutritional value.
Lyophilization of royal jelly
The bedrop royal jelly capsules are preserved using the "lyophilization" method (also known as freeze-drying). In this process, state-of-the-art technology is used to evaporate the water inside the royal jelly into powder using negative pressure and process it. Once this has been done, freeze-dried royal jelly remains. This contains less volume and weight and has a longer shelf life (fresh royal jelly has a shelf life of 6 months, whereas the capsules have a shelf life of up to 2 years). In addition, "food damage" is minimized during transport, storage and possible interruptions in the cold chain. There is less waste of valuable bee products. Sustainability is a very important point for us. The transport of fresh refrigerated goods requires cool packs or special packaging material such as felt, but the freeze-dried (lyophilized) royal jelly capsules mean that these additional materials can be dispensed with, so that less packaging waste is produced and required - without compromising on quality.

This process allows you to take our royal jelly capsules at any time. You not only receive our royal jelly capsules in the highest quality, but also with organic certification and sustainable packaging. The capsule shell is purely plant-based and contains no animal ingredients. To protect the capsules from the effects of light, we have filled them in dark glass jars and packed them in folding boxes. Treat yourself to the elixir of the queen bee for your well-being and your body.
