Hive bee

The worker bees that work within a beehive and fulfill certain tasks are called hive bees. The bee spends the first half of its life as a hive bee. The division of labor and tasks of the hive bees are:
- Cleaning the comb cells(cleaning bee)
- Nurse services for the larvae(nurse bee)
- Building combs
- Storing the supplies in the combs(pollen, honey, nectar)
- Honey preparation and ripening
- Guard at the entrance hole
