Bee venom has been shown in studies to promote:

Collagen stimulation
- Bee venom can stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, two essential proteins responsible for the skin’s firmness, elasticity and structure. As we age, production of these proteins declines, leading to wrinkles and sagging skin. By stimulating collagen and elastin production, bee venom can help make the skin firmer and smoother.

Microcirculation
- Bee venom promotes blood circulation in the skin, improving the supply of oxygen and nutrients to skin cells. Enhanced microcirculation supports skin regeneration and gives the skin a more youthful, refreshed appearance.

Skin regeneration
- By supporting cell regeneration, bee venom can help accelerate the skin’s natural renewal process, leading to faster healing and an improved skin appearance. Bee venom contains peptides that can help reduce skin redness. This is particularly beneficial for people with sensitive skin.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What results can I expect?
The bee venom cream from bedrop may help reduce cellulite and make skin appear firmer and more youthful. The bee venom it contains is known for its circulation-stimulating and tightening effects, which can help skin look smoother and more even. In addition, the cream contains moisturising ingredients that make skin feel softer and more radiant.
How long after starting treatment will I see results?
Initial visible results can appear after just a few weeks of regular use. For optimal results, continuous use over several months is recommended.
What studies exist on bee venom and its effects on skin ageing?
There are several scientific studies demonstrating the positive effects of bee venom on the skin, particularly in the treatment of cellulite. Research indicates that bee venom can stimulate collagen production and improve skin elasticity. These properties are especially important in combating cellulite, as they help strengthen and firm the skin’s structure.
Studies have shown that bee venom can improve microcirculation in the skin, leading to better tissue perfusion. This is a key factor in reducing cellulite, as improved circulation helps remove waste products and reduce fat deposits that contribute to cellulite’s characteristic appearance.
Moreover, clinical investigations have observed positive effects on skin tightening and smoothing. A study published in the "Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology" showed that regular use of bee venom-containing creams led to a significant improvement in skin texture and a reduction in visible cellulite.
Anti-inflammatory properties of bee venom have also been documented, which are particularly promising for treating cellulite. A paper in "Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine" demonstrated bee venom’s ability to reduce inflammatory processes in tissue, resulting in an improved skin appearance.
The active ingredients in bedrop’s bee venom cream have been carefully selected to harness these scientifically supported benefits and to offer you an effective solution for combating cellulite. The combination of bee venom and other natural ingredients aims not only to reduce cellulite but also to nourish and revitalize the skin.
Thousands of satisfied customers and the impressive results from clinical studies testify to the effectiveness of the bedrop bee venom cream. For women seeking a natural, research-backed solution for cellulite, this cream is a promising option.
Ultimately, it’s the perfect interplay of nature’s wisdom and modern research that makes bedrop’s bee venom cream so unique and effective against cellulite. A small wonder from the beehive that has improved the lives of countless women — and can help you achieve smoother, firmer skin too.
I’m worried about a bee venom allergy — can I still use the cream?
Because the BeeCream from bedrop is dermatologically tested and specially formulated for human skin, there is no cause for concern in cases of mild bee-venom allergies. The cream’s high bee-venom content is tempered by various herbal extracts, so it should only be avoided by people with severe allergies. Otherwise, there’s no need to worry. You can perform a short patch test, for example by applying a small amount to the back of your hand, to check for any reaction.
Does it sting lightly after the first applications — is that normal?
A slight burning or tingling sensation can be normal during the first applications, as the bee venom stimulates circulation. The burning may feel a little stronger initially because of the menthol content, but this will ease after about the 3rd–5th application. Avoid the eye area at first. With repeated use it becomes increasingly comfortable. Alternatively, bedrop’s BeeBalm can be used around the eyes.
Does it work for men too?
Yes, bee venom salve is suitable for all skin types and genders. Men can also benefit from its effects.
Are there any known side effects?
There are no significant side effects. Only the initial tingling and mild burning are side effects that subside after 3–5 applications. Afterwards the sensation becomes increasingly pleasant. No other side effects are known.
Are there other beneficial effects beyond cellulite?
Yes, bee venom ointment and royal jelly can also have anti-inflammatory effects and promote skin healing. They can be helpful in treating acne, eczema and other skin conditions. They are also used for spider veins, wrinkles & more.
Sustainability and bee welfare in bee venom collection
No bees are harmed in the collection of bee venom. bedrop is organic‑certified and ensures sustainable extraction practices that meet the high standards of EU beekeeping and do not involve any imports. A sting is not harmful to the bee, except when it occurs on human skin, because in that case the bee dies. Otherwise a bee can sting multiple times and the venom is continuously replenished.
